In 1997 Kenny set up his own label to
showcase fresh and exciting talent Mix and
Blen was born Catering to the dancefloor and
backed by Kenny Ken Mix and Blen soon
rocketed in popularity and by 2002 he and
Mace decided to start Planet Funk a label
devoted to the new and arising musical side
of Drum & Bass which once again became an
instant hit amongst D&B fans
As a testament to their legendary status

both of these exceptional labels Not only
does Urbanthology volume 5 feature an
